Energy audits:
A trained expert from the local co-op can inspect your heating and cooling system to pinpoint the areas where you are wasting energy. Contact your local co-op to schedule an audit.

Envision Energy Services:
Inefficiency in a business setting can grow quickly into a costly problem. The professionals at Envision Energy audit the energy use, lighting and compressed-air systems at businesses to identify opportunities to save. They also do infrared inspections to identify problems with electric equipment. Call your local co-op and ask about Envision Energy.

Direct Load Management :
The SimpleSaver program provided by our Owner-Members helps conserve energy and save money by remotely managing power usage by air conditioners and water heaters. Participation is voluntary, with participants receiving financial incentives. Everybody benefits when we are able to reduce overall power usage and delay building costly new power plants.

CFL bulbs:
These bulbs use a quarter of the power of traditional bulbs and last much longer. That's why Kentucky's Touchstone Energy Cooperatives have given away more than 700,000 CFL bulbs since 2003.

Touchstone Energy Homes:
The ideal way to ensure your house is energy-efficient is to build it with efficiency in mind. Our Owner-Members offer the Touchstone Energy Home Program to maximize efficiency. The program complements federal Energy Star standards, as well as Green Build Kentucky standards being adopted voluntarily by many Kentucky builders.

 

Button-Up:
Most homes leak heating and cooling in lots of ways. Your co-op's Button-Up Program can find the leaks and offer vital tips on insulation and more. Contact your local co-op to learn more.

Tune-Up:
Certified contractors are avaialable through your local co-op to inspect your home's heating and cooling system to ensure maximum efficiency.

Manufactured Home Program:
Our co-ops offer this program to make existing manufactured homes more energy efficient. More efficiency means lower energy bills and higher comfort.
