Since our founding, our mission has remained the same: to safely deliver reliable, affordable energy and related services. We generate and transmit power to 16 electric cooperatives that own the organization. The 16 owner-member co-ops, in turn, light the homes and businesses of more than a million Kentuckians in 87 counties.

Our main generating plants are located in Clark, Mason and Pulaski counties. Six other plants produce more green power than any other utility in Kentucky. In fact, we were the first utility in the state to generate green power.
