On June 18, 2026, at 04:17, a Duke Energy of Ohio transmission operator called the EKPC market operations center and communicated that they had “lost normal supply into Grant Station.” The EKPC MOC operator stopped the transmission operator at that point before further information was conveyed and transferred the call to the EKPC transmission operations department.
